ABOUT US

Test Source Community Energy (TSCE) is a not-for-profit Community Benefit Society and abides by the co-operative values and principles that are embedded in our Society Rules. We aim to develop, own and facilitate renewable energy installations for the benefit of the community of Overton, Hampshire and the surrounding area (the community).

 

We invest in the capital development of the renewable energy projects we own. We raise funds through a combination of community share ownership, and social fund investment - for example through Big Issue Invest. 
   
We sell our greener, cheaper energy directly to the occupiers of the buildings that house our solar PV.

In order to maximise the impact of community energy in the area, it has been decided to join forces with another local and larger energy company, Calleva Community Energy

 

We aim to:

• Reduce the community's carbon footprint

• Research and secure sustainable sources of renewable energy for the community’s use

• Promote environmental awareness and energy efficiency
